Hi Jennifer,
Welcome to planDisney, where we're a group of Guests, just like you, who've been fortunate enough to turn our passion for Disney vacations into a way to help others plan their magical getaways. I'm excited to help you get all the details straight for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort stay!
Lightning Lanes are a great way to spend less time waiting in line and more time enjoying the fun. Currently, there are three types of Lightning Lane passes available:
- Lightning Lane Single Pass – These can be purchased individually for some of the most in-demand attractions, like TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
- Lightning Lane Multi Pass –This allows you book up to three Lightning Lane experiences in a theme park per day in advance of your visit and then add more as your start using them.
- Lightning Lane Premier Pass– This is a paid service you can add to your ticket each day that allows you to reserve access to select attractions one at a time throughout the day, starting at 7:00 AM on the day of your park visit.
Now, when it comes to booking Lightning Lane passes, the window depends on where you're staying:
- Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and the Shades of Green® Resort can begin making Lightning Lane selections 7 days before check-in, for their entire stay (up to 14 days).
- Guests staying off-property or at other hotels—including the Walt Disney World Official Hotels: Disney Springs Resort Area, such as the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista—can begin making their selections 3 days before each park day, one day at a time.
So, while the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel and offers some great benefits, like walking distance to Disney Springs, it unfortunately doesn't fall under the umbrella of eligible hotels for the 7-day Lightning Lane booking window. My best tip? Set a reminder to log in 3 days ahead of your park visit at 7:00 AM to grab those must-have attractions. Planning is key to unlocking the magic!
Thanks again for stopping by, Jennifer. If you have any more questions as you plan, I hope you’ll swing back by!
TTFN,
Brent
