Hi! I was wondering if Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast Dinner Buffet at Storytellers Cafe will be returning this year, and if so, will it be available on December 24th? Thank you!

    Hi there, Michelle!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. I’m absolutely delighted that you’re planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort during my most favorite time of year! There’s truly nothing like strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with twinkling lights overhead, the holiday tree glowing warmly, and that unmistakable scent of gingerbread drifting through the air. It feels like stepping straight into a holiday storybook!

My kids and I loved Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast at Storytellers Cafe last year, and it instantly became one of my most treasured Character Dining experiences! Watching Mickey’s Christmas Carol is a beloved tradition in my home, and seeing Goofy as Jacob Marley and greeting Scrooge McDuck in person nearly brought tears to my eyes. It was pure holiday magic!

While we haven’t heard any announcements yet about the 2026 holiday dining lineup, the Disney Parks Blog shared many festive updates in late July last year, so I’m hopeful we’ll hear more this summer. In 2025, the dinner was offered from November 17 through January 6, so fingers crossed it returns for Christmas Eve this year. Guests seemed to adore the holiday meals at Storytellers Cafe, so I’m wishing on a star that they’ll be back!

Last year, Storytellers Cafe also hosted an adorable Daisy's Holiday Pajama Party for breakfast and brunch. My family loved that experience, as well, and you get to dress up in pajamas! Eating a delicious meal in your cozy PJ's is so fun!

I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland’s social channels for updates on 2026 offerings. There are always so many treats to try, like my personal favorite, the Peppermint Churro. I could happily enjoy one…or two…every single day!

Michelle, I hope your holiday visit is filled with joy, sparkle, and unforgettable moments. If you have any more questions, planDisney is always here to help.
