Greetings, BeckyAnne, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you'll be visiting the Happiest Place on Earth just before the holiday celebrations begin. The yuletide fun will
return on November 18, 2026. Let's see what we can plan to make your visit extra special!
It sounds like you're interested in the Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Hearthstone Lounge. This experience was last offered in 2024, and we won't likely know if it's returning this year until sometime in October. Even if it does, though, I'm not sure it'll be available in early November before the holiday festivities kick off across the Resort. That said, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. If it is announced, there would likely be a date mentioned for when reservations would open up.
I realize that this news may come as a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer. But let's wave our metaphorical wand and come up with some other ideas to maximize the fun of your November visit:
- Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is a special experience. Hosted inside the beautiful Napa Rose restaurant, this 3-course breakfast is made even better with visits from multiple Disney Princesses. Imagine 3-tiered towers of appetizers, delicious breakfast foods like bread pudding French toast, themed desserts, and more. This might be the closest alternative. Reservations typically open 60 days out.
- Character Dining is another good option. Since you'll be at Disneyland Park, I suggest looking into Minnie & Friends Breakfast in the Park. It's a great way to start the day, with an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet, visits from Disney pals, and more. There's something special about interacting with Characters while having a nice meal with loved ones. Reservations typically open 60 days out.
- Consider the World of Color Dessert Party inside California Adventure. I surprised my mom with this experience, and we still talk about it. The show is amazing, with towering fountains, lots of colors, projections, special effects, and great music. As part of the dessert party, you'd be seated at a table with a great view of the show and receive a box of sweet treats and savory snacks. Cookie cups, lemon cake, macarons, and more, paired with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and soft drinks, make it feel like a unique spin on a high tea activity. Reservations generally open 60 days out.
- You'll see hints of the holiday season start to appear around the Resort starting in early November. One of my favorite spots is the Grand Californian Hotel lobby. It's majestic year-round, but is even better during the holidays. It's not guaranteed, but there's a chance the tree may go up in the lobby just before or during your visit, so check it out and plan some time to rest in front of the fireplace and enjoy the live music.
BeckyAnne, I hope some of these ideas felt like a sprinkle of pixie dust on your plans. If you think of any other questions between now and November, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney, and we'd love to help you make the most of your trip.
Your pal,
Kriss
