Ahoy there, Stacey,
Thanks for sailing back to planDisney with another great question. I'm happy to help!
I love boarding the
FriendShip Boats and cruising around Crescent Lake. It's such a relaxing way to take in views of Disney's BoardWalk while resting my legs for a long day in the parks. As you've noticed, the boats are also available for guests hoping to cut across World Showcase Lagoon at
EPCOT. I've enjoyed watching them glide by over the years but hadn't utilized them until very recently. If you time it just right, it can be an efficient way to make your way around.
At this time, FriendShip Boat launches are available in the Canada and Morocco Pavilions. They are scheduled to operate continuously beginning 1 hour after park opening until 1 hour before park closing each day, subject to weather-related closures. There are additional launches located in both Mexico and Germany, but they were not in use during my last visit and did not appear on the timetables when I researched. Hopefully, we will see those return to operation at some point.
If you are looking for
walking or transportation directions during your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort you can access step-by-step instructions right in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. It's such a helpful feature and has come in handy on almost every one of my recent visits!
I'd also like to mention that you should now also be
within your planning window for any Lightning Lane Passes you want to purchase if you'll be staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel next week. I recently
shared some step-by-step instructions with another guest if you'd like to read up on the process.
I hope this helped, Stacey. If we can answer more questions as you prepare for your visit please come back and let us know. Wishing you a magical vacation!
Magic and memories,
Amy
