I am wondering if I have a dining reservation booked for i.e. 4 p.m. and later find a more suitable time of 5 p.m., would I be able to book the 5 p.m. slot before cancelling the 4 p.m. reservation? I don't want to lose my reservation. Thanks!

    Hello Carmellina,

With so many dining options and family favorite Disney dining experiences, advance dining reservations are top priority for my family. We truly love to eat and drink and taste and discover the culinary smorgasbord of restaurants, the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.

When it comes to making Advance Dining Reservations, Walt Disney World has stated, Guests are not permitted to make reservations within 2 hours of another reservation. This constraint helps us provide you with the most choices and availability when making your dining plans. In other words, if an advance dining reservation does become available at 5:00 p.m., you will be prompted to cancel the 4:00 p.m. before going through with the later reservation time.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
