I have a wine and dine 5K & 1/2 marathon event coming up in November. I’m doing the 10k as a virtual since it wasn’t available. How do I submit the time for the certificate? It will not let me on the dashboard.

    Hey there, Barbara!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for running over with your question about your upcoming runDisney events! I'm thrilled to hear you'll be participating in Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend - both in-person and virtually. Barbara, race weekend is approaching quickly, so let's discuss how to submit your finish time for the virtual event!

In just a few short weeks, you'll be heading to The Most Magical Place on Earth for a race-cation jam-packed with fun! Barbara, whether you'll be completing the virtual Disney Wine & Dine 10K at home on the treadmill, in your neighborhood, or once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, you'll want to submit your finish time via the virtual race finisher website to print your completion certificate. If you don't see the option to submit your finish time within your Dashboard, I recommend checking the confirmation email for your virtual 10K for additional instructions on how to access the finisher website. Otherwise, you can reach out to runDisney by phone or email for troubleshooting assistance.

Barbara, your virtual Disney Wine & Dine 10K medal will be mailed to you at the end of the virtual event completion timeline indicated in your confirmation email, regardless of whether you submit a finish time. Once you also complete the in-person 5K and half marathon, you can visit the Results website to download finisher certificates for those events, too!

I just love running on Walt Disney World Resort property, Barbara - even when I'm not participating in runDisney events. If you'll be staying at a Disney Resort hotel that features a jogging trail, consider running your virtual 10K while on-site to add a little pixie dust to those miles! The trail that loops between Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Magic Kingdom Park is one of my favorite places to run during a peaceful morning at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

I hope you've found this information helpful, Barbara. I'm wishing you miles and miles of magic during your upcoming race series! If you have any additional vacation planning or runDisney-related questions, feel free to revisit planDisney anytime. We're here to make sure every mile is worth your while!

    Go the Distance,
