Boo to you, Sujheey!
We're so glad you stopped by planDisney today.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite seasonal offerings at Walt Disney World Resort, so I completely understand why you don't want to miss it during your upcoming visit. The unique character greetings (Jack Skellington and Sally are a must-meet), live entertainment, and frightfully delicious event-exclusive snacks always leave me spellbound. Keep your eye on the
Disney Eats Instagram page for more details on party bites and beverages, plus all the tricks and treats creeping into the parks and resorts.
Halloween Party tickets went on sale to guests with eligible resort reservations on May 5 and launched for all other guests on May 12. It appears that the August 11 and August 14 party dates are sold out at this time, as well as the event scheduled for Halloween night. I expect more dates to sell out as the calendar pages flutter toward the witching hour.
I know this is disappointing, but don't fret! You should still be able to enjoy some of the
festive decor during your visit to Magic Kingdom Park next month. Those iconic Mickey Pumpkin wreaths and autumn-toned swags draped down Main Street, U.S.A. make a perfect backdrop for photos, even if you aren't able to secure party tickets. And if you're feeling especially ghoulish, don't miss the
Haunted Mansion Collection from Disney Store, which launched earlier this week. I already have my eye on that Haunted Mansion Wallpaper cardigan.
Before I (dearly) depart, here's one last tip: it never hurts to stop by the ticket window to see if any last-minute party tickets are available. A friend of mine was once able to snag same-day tickets for an event listed as sold out online, which was a delightfully spooky surprise. Of course, I can't guarantee this will be the case on your visit, but in my experience, the answer is
always "no" until you ask.
Sujheey, I hope you'll be able to enjoy the frightful festivities this summer. If any additional planning questions materialize between now and then, feel free to send us a message from somewhere beyond. We're dying to have you at planDisney, so "hurrrry back!"
Happy haunts,
Amy
