Hi there, Tyler!
Getting the gift of magic is incredible, isn't it? I'm so glad the person who gifted your wife a Disney Gift Card thought of all the ways she could use it, as I always choose experiences over all other kinds of presents, too!
Tyler, I love shopping for my Disney Gift Cards from Sam's Club! Although there isn't a way to add the physical Disney Gift Cards to your Apple Wallet, I'd love to share what I have done in the past!
First, I created a profile on
Disney Gift Card's website. The site is not a payment method; however, it allows Guests to add and combine their Disney Gift Cards into one for a balance of up to $1000.
Then, I purchased a
Disney Gift Card eGift, essentially an online Disney Gift Card through shopDisney. You'll receive it through your email, and it has a Disney Gift Card number and an EAN with it. The minimum purchase is $25, but it works out perfectly since I know it will go toward my
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. —Call it Disney-Fan math if you wish to!
At the bottom of the Disney Gift Card eGift email, you'll see the option to "Add to Apple Wallet." You'll want to select this option to add the card to your Apple Wallet.
Then, I added the Disney Gift Card eGift to my Disney Gift Card profile as my primary card. I then transferred the funds from the Sam's Club card to the eGift Card through the Disney Gift Card's website. That way, the Sam's Club Disney Gift Card funds will go into the eGift Card, which is located in your Apple Wallet, making the funds easier to use!
You'll be happy to know you can use Disney Gift Cards at most Walt Disney World Resort locations! I have used mine to pay for my
Disney Resort hotel stay and at many dining and shopping locations!
Wishing you and your wife an enchanting visit, Tyler!
Aena
