can i reuse a gift card and add additional credit to it prior to my trip?

    Hello Gareth,

Welcome to planDisney! Disney Gift Cards are a great way to have one easy method of payment during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

You can certainly reuse a gift card and reload it for future use! According to DisneyGiftCard.com, a gift card can be reloaded for any amount between $5-$1,000, with a limit of $1,000 balance on each gift card. It does state that you can reload your gift card at any location that sells Disney gift cards, but online reloads are not available at this time. You could, however, purchase another gift card and transfer the balance to your primary gift card on DisneyGiftCard.com. Once again, the maximum value of Disney gift card is $1,000.

You can use your Disney gift card for dining, shopping, theme park tickets, and more while you’re at Walt Disney World Resort! My favorite souvenir to purchase when I visit is an ornament. I like to find an ornament that represents something special we did on that vacation, whether it is Disney Resort hotel-themed, holiday-themed, or even something as simple as having the current year.

I hope this was helpful, Gareth. If you have any more questions as your visit to Walt Disney World Resort gets closer, please come back and see me at planDisney!
