Hi Oscar! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
I hope you're enjoying the increased access to the magic of Disneyland Resort, the fantastic
discounts, and fun perks. I love being a
Magic Key holder! My favorite part is definitely the dining discount: We're foodies who love to dine in the parks, and the dining discount gives us a great reason to do so.
There could be a few reasons why you're unable to make a theme park reservation. One reason could be that your Magic Key is blocked out for dates you're trying to reserve. Have you checked your Magic Key's
Blockout dates? This also shows the dates where you might be able to visit but all reservations for Magic Keys are currently full. For example, while Sep 27 isn't blocked out on the calendar, there are currently no reservations available for Imagine Key holders when I check the calendar. Some parks may be full or some days may be unavailable. It's a popular time of year with the festivities of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort underway. But if you keep checking, you might snag that coveted reservation. People's plans change, and when they cancel a reservation, availability will also change.
Other possibilities include you missed 3 reservations within a 90-day period, you've reached the limit of the maximum number of reservations you can hold at one time, or you haven't linked your Magic Key to your My Disney account yet. If your Magic Key isn't showing up, you haven't linked yet. On the Disneyland Resort website, hover over the "My Disneyland" dropdown menu and select "Link Tickets & Passes" and follow the steps to link you Magic Key.
If you can't determine what's preventing you from making a theme park reservation with your Magic Key, please call the dedicated
Magic Key Holders phone line. A friendly Cast Member will do their best to assist you with your issue. You can call this line anytime you need assistance with your Magic Key.
I hope this helps!
