Hi there, Aubrey, welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you’re ready for a year of magic! As a
Magic Key pass holder, I’m happy to share how park entry works!
At this time, Magic Key pass sales are on pause and unfortunately, we don’t have a date for when they will return. However, once they are for sale again, and you can purchase them, making park reservations is a breeze. A Magic Key grants the pass holder entrance into
Disneyland Resort based on each tier’s respective blockout dates and
Magic Key reservation ability. A separate ticket is unnecessary once you have the pass, assuming you’re going on an open date. If you want to go to the parks on a date blocked out for your pass, you can purchase a single ticket for that date, but a reservation is still required.
Keep an eye on
Disneyland Magic Key on Instagram because they tend to announce when passes will return a few days to a week or so before the opening sale date. Make sure you keep up with
Disney Parks Blog to see what fun things will pop up during your visit, and follow
Disneyland on Instagram for special and limited-time experiences! Finally, be sure to explore the
Disneyland app and
Magic Key pass-buying guide so you’re ready!
I sure hope this information was helpful, Aubrey! If you have other questions about being a Magic Key pass holder,

Adventure awaits!
