Rachel from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have an inspire key pass. Is it true that I do not need a reservation to enter the park after 2PM?

Hi there, Rachel, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing your question to us. We always enjoy welcoming other Magic Key Holders here and I hope that you've enjoyed having that Key to unlock a year of Disneyland Resort magic!

With your Inspire Magic Key Pass, you get the best category of benefits, including the fewest blockout dates, holding up to 6 park reservations at a time, fully paid parking, and the best discounts throughout the Resort. However, at the Disneyland Resort, you'll still need to make a park reservation for each day that you visit. Park Hopping benefits begin after 11 a.m., so if you visit after that time, you may enter whichever Park you would like but you'd still need a park reservation for the day.

You might be thinking about Walt Disney World Resort, where Good-To-Go Days were announced last year allowing Annual Passholders to visit the Parks without a reservation on certain days and to enter a Theme Park without a reservation after 2 p.m. (with some restrictions). No such program was announced for the Disneyland Resort and Guests still need a Theme Park Ticket and park reservations for entry.

Rachel, I hope that answered your question. If you need anything further, please visit and write to us again because we'd love to hear from you! You're always welcome at planDisney! Until next time!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
