Hi Ashlynn! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
At this time entry to the parks at Disneyland Resort requires a valid
admission ticket and a
theme park reservation. Theme park reservation
availability is not guaranteed, and on popular days park reservations can fill up, which means you can no longer purchase a ticket for that park or day. This is a popular time of year with schools starting to go on break and the
Disney California Food & Wine Festival underway. Reservations must have been filled up for your preferred date. I'm sorry if that's disappointing!
However, you can currently purchase admission tickets and make a theme park reservation as far out as the end of the summer. Hopefully, an available date in the future will be the perfect time to explore the parks. The further out you book, the greater the likelihood that your preferred date and park will be available.
And if life throws you a curveball and you need to modify your reservation to another available date, you can do that. Simply hover over "My Disneyland" on the Disneyland Resort website and select "Ticket and Reservation Details" to begin the modification process. The ability to change a reservation gives you a lot of flexibility with your plans prior to the expiration of your tickets. Even after an unused ticket expires it keeps its value, which you can apply to the purchase of a new ticket. You'd simply have to pay the difference as prices and terms are subject to change.
I hope you're able to visit soon!
