Welcome back to planDisney Susan!
I am excited about your upcoming visit to
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, as it is one of my favorites. The food options are fantastic, and the Tower accommodations are absolutely gorgeous! If the adults have the chance, I highly recommend learning how to make their own sangria at
Sangria University.
If you only need mobility assistance while in the parks, you can rent
regular wheelchairs and ECVs (transporters) at each of the four parks and
Disney Springs. They are available for rental each day, or you can choose a length of stay rental, which helps save time and money. If you choose this option, you must drop off your wheelchair at the same place you picked it up daily.
If you need a mobility device at the Resort, your best bet is to use an outside rental company.
ScooterBug is the official partner at Disney World, and they have a variety of wheelchairs and ECVs to rent. They will deliver and pick up straight from your hotel, which is super convenient. Doing this lets you use the wheelchair wherever you need it during your vacation.
Susan, if you rent the wheelchair from an outside company, feel free to use it throughout the Resort. All Disney transportation is
accessible, and the attractions will indicate necessary accommodations. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to return. I wish you a vacation full of wonder.
