Hiya Christine!
Thanks for dropping by planDisney, where you can find a group of Disney pals eager to offer answers to all your Disney vacation questions. I love looking back at the
Disney PhotoPass photos from my family's Walt Disney World vacations and reflecting on the magical memories from over the years. It would be my pleasure to help you navigate the use of your
Memory Maker so you can do the same with yours!
Memory Maker is a great way to capture and keep magical moments from your visit to Walt Disney World.
Disney’s PhotoPass Service’s Memory Maker is an all-inclusive photo package that allows you to download all the photos and videos taken of you and your friends and family during your vacation. This includes the pictures and videos from up to 25 members of your
Family and Friends who share media with you. Such a worthwhile investment!
Capture your family and friends riding select attractions, greeting some of their favorite Disney Characters, and in picture-perfect locations throughout the park. I highly recommend taking advantage of the many PhotoPass locations found throughout each park, including some of the fun Disney Magic Shots that utilize photo effects, 360-degree capture cameras, and cameras at a bird’s eye view.
You can link your PhotoPass photos using your
Key to the World cards when you have pictures taken by a Disney photographer. You will simply need to tap your card when requested, and just like magic, the photos and videos will appear in your Disney account. For the attraction photos, your Key to the World cards will not automatically link them to your Disney account. Some attractions will have a PhotoPass preview wall at the attraction exit where you can tap your Key to the World card to link your photos. For attractions that do not have the PhotoPass preview wall, you must use a smartphone, MagicBand, or MagicBand+ to link the photos.
Here are a few tips for linking your photos and videos using your smartphone:
• Use a mobile device with Bluetooth® technology enabled for the My Disney Experience app.
• Make sure to sign in to the
My Disney Experience app.
• Keep your mobile device out of “Low Power” mode while on the attraction.
• Please note that a smartwatch can’t be used to automatically link attraction photos and videos.
Don’t forget to download all your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos before they expire (45 days from the date they are taken). Once they expire, you can no longer download or purchase them.
I hope you have a magical vacation creating memories you will cherish for a lifetime. If we can answer any more of your questions, please consider us your pals here at planDisney and stop by anytime. We are happy to help!
