I’m thrilled to welcome you to planDisney, Jason!
Thanks for stopping by with a question for us.
You’ll soon be entering a world full of magic in just a few days! As you prepare for your adventures, I’m happy to discuss all that Walt Disney World Resort is doing to keep Guest and Cast Member safety a priority.
Jason, like you, I, too, take my family’s health very seriously, and I’m happy to tell you that Walt Disney World Resort is still running at limited capacity, thanks to the
Disney Park Pass reservation system.
At this time,
table service restaurants are also at a limited capacity. I asked my fellow panelist and dear friend,
Angie C., who dined just today at
Be Our Guest Restaurant inside Magic Kingdom Park about the seating arrangement. She told me tables were missing to make more space between Guests and felt comfortable with the distance between her table and the neighboring tables. During your vacation, if you ever feel uncomfortable being seated in an area of a restaurant, please let your Cast Member host know, and they will be happy to assist you. In my experience, Cast Members usually go out of their way to accommodate Guests.
You'll also find Disney has recently announced that
face coverings will be required for all Guests ages 2 and up while indoors, upon entering the queues of attractions, as well as on the attractions, and when using Disney transportation. This is regardless of vaccination status.
I hope knowing all the precautions being taken helps put your mind at ease, Jason. We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic!
Have an enchanting time!
Aena
