    I have a WDW reservation on hold for 3 days. Will I automatically be charged after 3 days or will my reservation be released? I'm afraid I jumped the gun and realize I needed to added days and dining.

    Alyssa, there's no place like the Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays. I'm thrilled you'll have the chance to experience the stunning seasonal décor and joyful attraction overlays later this year! I reached out to a helpful Cast Member to inquire about what happens when a Guest adds a room-only Disney Resort hotel reservation to their "cart" on the Walt Disney World Resort website. I was informed that, when a Guest has a reservation "on hold," but does not confirm the booking, their room-only reservation will be released after a three-day period.

    I understand you're considering upgrading your room-only reservation plans to a vacation package, Alyssa. No worries! Room-only Resort hotel reservations can usually be upgraded to vacation packages (including theme park tickets and dining plans), even after a booking has been confirmed. At this time, you should be able to modify your "held" room-only reservation on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Simply visit your cart to view additional theme park ticket options and other eligible add-ons! If you'd prefer, you may also call the friendly Cast Members at the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line for assistance in modifying your reservation. Be sure to have your Cart ID number (found at the bottom of your "Cart" screen) handy so that the Cast Member can reference what's in your cart!
