I am looking to buy tickets to the Christmas party but would like to have dinner at Crystal Palace prior to the party. I believe ticket holders can arrive as early as 4pm. Is that correct? If so, could I make a reservation at Crystal Palace for 3pm?

    Happy holidays, Sylvie!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your very merry question! There is nothing more festive than Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, so I’m glad you are making plans to attend.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket holders may enter Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4:00 p.m. If you have a regular theme park admission ticket, you do not need to leave the park before the party begins, you can simply pick up a special party bracelet from one of the stations set up around the park. If you are entering the park for the first time that day, I recommend that you arrive a little early as there is often a queue to get your party bracelet.

Winnie the Pooh and his Hundred-Acre Wood friends will be so happy to have you join them at The Crystal Palace. The timing for your reservation will depend on whether you have a regular theme park admission for Magic Kingdom Park that day. If you do, you may make a reservation before 4:00 p.m. If not, you will need to make your dining reservation after 4:00 p.m. If you would like to make a dining reservation during the party, Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella’s Royal Table offer Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Dining.

Sylvie, don’t miss all the other holly jolly happenings around Walt Disney World Resort during your stay. The Disney Resorts Collection hotels are all decked out for the holidays with Christmas trees and several hotels have amazing gingerbread house displays that will have visions of sugar plums dancing in your head for days. I love all the festive retro décor of Disney’s Hollywood Studios or you could attend the special ticketed event, Disney Jollywood Nights for a little extra holiday glitz and glamour. It really is the most wonderful time of the year!

Check out the planDisney Pocket Guides for more tips about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights or write back to us here at planDisney. You will be seeing snow on Main Street, U.S.A. before you know it, Sylvie!

Wishing you many merry and magical memories,
    Shannon
