    We are going to WDW in August. We want to take advantage of the free waterpark day. We will go straight there when we arrive. We are driving. My husband has a military park ticket that we have to activate. Will we need to do that before going to waterpark?

    Welcome back to planDisney! It is great to see you here asking another question about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. I love that you trust us to give you answers and it is my pleasure to answer your question about the Water Park Benefit for Disney Resort hotel stays in 2025.

    I am so excited about this new perk for Disney Resort hotel Guests in 2025! I have an upcoming visit in April and can’t wait to drop my bags and hit Melt-Away Bay at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park on my check-in day. If you don’t need to store your luggage, you can go straight to the water park on your check-in day. You don’t need theme park tickets to take advantage of this complimentary water park entry. It will appear as a separate ticket in the My Disney Experience app on your check-in day. You can use your MagicBand+, Disney Magic Mobile, or a Key to the World card for entry into the water park. So don’t worry about activating your husband’s Disney Military Salute Ticket before you enjoy a day of splashing fun!
