Hey there, Ricky!
A star-spangled welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for bringing us a patriotic question about the
Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, like you, I won't be able to spend this Independence Day at The Most Magical Place on Earth. (My sadness was only amplified once I checked out this
Disney Parks Blog post about celebrations taking place on July 4th!) However, I'd be happy to help you take part in the magical celebration from the comfort of your home.
Ricky, a special holiday nighttime spectacular, "
Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky," takes place July 3rd and 4th, 2024 at 9:20 p.m. each evening. At the time of writing, Disney Parks Blog has not announced any plans for an official live stream of these events. However, it's very likely that other popular third-party bloggers and YouTubers will be broadcasting live from Magic Kingdom Park! (In fact, my family is tuned into one of these events
right now.) While we may not be there to feel the percussion of the fireworks in person, this might offer the next best opportunity for us to feel part of the magic happening at the Walt Disney World Resort this Independence Day.
In addition to the special shows at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT will feature a dazzling holiday display as well, Ricky! On July 4th, "The Heartbeat of Freedom," an Independence Day fireworks event, will take place at EPCOT following the conclusion of
Luminous The Symphony of Us. I recommend tuning in to a third-party livestream for this event, then catching "Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky" immediately after for a red, white, and blue double feature!
Ricky, I hope you find this information helpful and I wish you a very happy Independence Day. If you have any additional questions about how to feel the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort from home, or about planning your next enchanting escape to The Most Magical Place on Earth, you're always welcome to revisit us right here at
planDisney. We're all ears!
May your holiday be bright with fireworks,
Lauren
