If I have a park reservation for Hollywood Studios on Dec 31 with a park hopper pass, can we hop to Magic Kingdom for new years fireworks?

Hiya, Angela, and welcome to planDisney! I hope you rang in 2024 in style at Walt Disney World Resort. I can't think of a better place to be for that festive occasion. I'm so sorry I didn't see your question earlier; I wanted to respond because we value every guest question that comes our way.

As you know, New Year's Eve is a popular time to visit the theme parks. I don't mind the crowds because I know we're all there to celebrate the magic of the coming year. I hope you embraced the festivities and made some treasured memories.

For future reference, guests with the Park-Hopper Option can theoretically enter different theme parks on the same day. Although it rarely happens, sometimes a theme park can reach capacity, so for safety, guests won't be allowed entry until enough people exit. This sometimes happens on major holidays, so I'm wishing on a star that you could enter Magic Kingdom Park as you'd planned.

I'd also like to add that you can check Park-Hopping availability in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Tap the three lines in the bottom right of your screen and select the Park Hours & Info tile to see hours and Park Hopper Availability. I always double-check before I leave one park for another.

Finally, theme park reservations and Park-Hopping procedures will change soon, so watch the Disney Parks Blog for details.

Angela, I hope your visit was everything you dreamed of! Please stop by planDisney anytime. My final tip is to include your arrival date when you submit future questions so I can be sure to answer them promptly.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
