Walt Disney World Resort. It will be here before you know it, so let's get right to it!
I'm sorry that you weren't able to snag tickets for the July
Moonlight Magic event. These are always so popular with Members and they sell out FAST! Our family has been lucky to attend a couple of past events and they really are a lot of fun. On the night of each Moonlight Magic, the designated park stays open late for Members to enjoy shorter lines for attractions, complimentary snacks and drinks (two words: Mickey Pop!), special Character experiences, and even some exclusive Member merch for purchase.
DVC does not maintain an official waitlist for these events. Some additional tickets may be released closer to the event, and that information would be available on the Moonlight Magic website. You can also check with
Member Services, as plans do change and some tickets might open up last-minute if others cancel.
Jennifer, if you're staying in a DVC resort for this trip, don't forget that you'll be able to take advantage of both
Early Theme Park Entry and
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Early entry allows Guests of any Disney Resort Hotel to enter the parks 30 minutes before the posted opening time. Especially in the summer, it's a great way to get a jump on the crowds and start your day before it's really hot!
The evening option is only available for Guests staying in a Deluxe-level resort, which includes all of the DVC properties. It looks like
EPCOT has extended hours on Monday, July 20, and
Magic Kingdom Park has extended hours on Wednesday, July 22 that you'll be able to enjoy during your vacation.
