Oh my goodness,
love is in the air, and I am so happy for you! Since Magic Kingdom is all about fairytales, I can't think of a more magical place to start your tale as old as time.
You will need
a ticket for
Magic Kingdom Park to propose in front of the castle. If you are a Florida resident, you have a few options, from a single to a discounted multi-day ticket. If you are visiting from out of state, you can pick anywhere from a
1-day to 10-day ticket, with each additional day decreasing your ticket price. If you want pixie dust all year long, you can buy an Annual Pass (which also would make a great
wedding gift to your partner!).
You said you wanted to get in and out with
the proposal, but since you'll have park entry, you may as well
make it magical! You mentioned Cinderella's Castle; honestly, it is the most iconic place to propose. You can be spontaneous and have one of the fabulous PhotoPass photographers capture the moment (I think this is the best way to surprise your partner!), but make sure you have
Memory Maker so that you have all the fab pictures. You can also
Capture Your Moment in Magic Kingdom with a personalized 20-minute photo session if you want to guarantee a magical moment.
If you'll allow me a few other spectacular suggestions - the one thing you can't control in Florida is the weather, so consider
dinner inside the castle, where you can dine like royalty and include an enchanting surprise. Or, if your budget allows, consider going all out, and
plan a private dining experience. Finally, if you can hold in your proposal, why not pop the question during the fireworks spectacular? I can't imagine anything more magical than
a ring, a castle, and fireworks!
"Every once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale." And with that, I wish you a Happily Ever After.
