Welcome to planDisney! My son had his first haircut at
Harmony Barber Shop, and it’s one of my favorite Disney memories! So, let’s chat about your options in hopes your little guy can get his first haircut there, too.
With this being such a popular experience, it’s not too surprising to me that it’s been hard for you to snag a reservation, but it doesn’t mean all hope is lost! What I would recommend is checking back here and there leading up to your trip to see if anything becomes available. People’s plans change all the time, so if there’s a cancellation, that can open up a spot for you!
If you don’t happen to get a reservation before your trip, you can always check to see if they have any walk-up availability on your actual park day. If you go this route, I recommend heading over to Harmony Barber Shop as soon as it opens for the day to ask if there happens to be any availability. While it’s not guaranteed, it’s definitely worth a try!
While you’re up at the front of the park near Harmony Barber Shop, make sure to stop by
Guest Relations at City Hall to pick up a First Visit celebration button. That’s such a special memento to have, and it’s fun to wear around the park so the Cast Members can celebrate with your son!
