Hello, Dana, and welcome to planDisney!
Can you believe Easter is just days away? I feel like I am scrambling to get things done and finalize our plans. The funny thing is, we are considering driving down for a
Disney Resort-only visit. We are an in-the-park type of family so staying in and enjoying the resort will be a vacation in itself. We haven’t finalized our plans, but it is currently being worked on. We might be visiting too and looking for an Easter Service alongside you.
My fellow panelist,
Mike, mentioned that in previous years Disney’s Contemporary used to offer services. However, in most recent years on-site services have not been offered. I recommend checking the
Disney Parks Blog throughout the week to see if any information on possible services has been added. You can also check in with your resort directly once you arrive. I’ve found that there’s usually a pop-up in the lobby with all the scheduled events for the week.
Since it is Easter, what comes to mind is EPCOT and all things
Flower & Garden. My little one even completed the scavenger hunt last month. She had a blast searching for all the eggs while we enjoyed EPCOT. Even though you cannot collect these eggs, you can redeem a fun prize after you’ve had your map verified at any of the participating locations. Something else you can do is pop into
Disney’s Grand Floridian to take a look at all the decorated eggs on display. It’s just a quick monorail ride over from Magic Kingdom, so if you’re visiting Magic Kingdom, it’s a fun little trip and a way to escape the heat for a bit.
Dana, I hope this helps and sends you off on an egg-cellent journey while visiting Walt Disney World. Have a great time, and if there’s anything else we can help with, we’re all ears!
Happy Easter,
Shantel
