Hello, Lei Huey!
Welcome to planDisney! I rolled over here to answer your question just as fast as I could, but I apologize if I'm too late to help. But I'd be glad to give you some information for next time!
While your little guy is welcome to ride his scooter around Anaheim, you won't be able to take the scooter past the security checkpoint because
scooters are prohibited. The best option to store a scooter would be to purchase a bike lock and use the bike racks at the Harbor Boulevard entrance to the resort.
I know all that walking can be tough on little legs! I try to plan a nice, long lunch each day so we can sit and rest up. Some attractions offer a great chance to relax for a bit, including:
- The Disneyland Railroad (stay on as long as you'd like)
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room (sit on the back row for a more comfortable seat)
- "it's a small world"
- Turtle Talk with Crush
- Animation Academy
- Mickey's PhilharMagic
My favorite new place to take a break with little ones is
Mickey's Toontown! CenTOONial Park is the perfect place to stretch your legs, enjoy a snack, and maybe even see a character or two. Just last week when we were enjoying a rest on the grass we were surprised by Pluto coming to visit us while he was out for a walk!
I'm sorry that I don't have a better option for your little guy to use his scooter, Lei. I hope that the pixie dust in the air at the parks will give him the boost he needs to have an amazing time!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
