Is there a waitlist for the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas for December 6th?

Welcome to planDisney, Andrea! I can tell you're getting excited about the holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort. Me too!

At this time, there is no waitlist for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park. Usually, when an after-hours event sells out, no more tickets are sold. However, there are rare occurrences where some availability opens up, but you would usually need to check at the ticket windows outside of the park on the day of the event and purchase them there if available. That said, I wouldn't plan your day around the possibility of scoring tickets to a sold-out party because it rarely happens.

Instead, let's discuss some alternate options because while this after-hours event is wonderful, it's by far not the only source of holiday magic at the resort during this time of year. In fact, Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios will be taking place on December 4th and December 6th, and as of writing this answer, they have not yet sold out. My friends LeAndra and Tracie both attended this new event and would be happy to answer any of your questions about it!

Also, keep in mind that Magic Kingdom Park (and all of the other parks) are all decked out for the holidays during regular park hours. And they all have holiday treats and merchandise for sale too! Plus, Jingle Cruise, the holiday overlay of Jungle Cruise, is also available during regular park hours at Magic Kingdom Park! Not to mention that while Guests attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party get their own exclusive performance of the brand-new show Frozen Holiday Surprise, all park Guests can watch it being performed at 6:15 p.m. (time subject to change and the show is weather-dependent).

There's also the Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. And don't forget that the resorts themselves are beautifully decorated and usually offer specialty treats as well...and maybe even a holiday surprise or two! Just check the lobby of your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel for any offerings that may be available to you!

Andrea, I wish you a magical holiday visit to the resort! Please reach out directly to me if you have any other questions.

    Warm hugs for everyone,
    Matt
