Hi there, Jennifer!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us an exciting
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to hear your Club of Mouseketeers will be making its way to The Most Magical Place on Earth next month! The countdown is officially on, so let's chat about where you can enjoy some memorable meals together during your vacation.
Jennifer, I think you've described my perfect Disney day. Starting your day with a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. at
Magic Kingdom Park and capping off your evening with a viewing of
Fantasmic! - does it get any better than that!? While Disney's Hollywood Studios offers some wonderful
dining experiences, I'd love to share some personalized recommendations based on your specific travel party and plans:
- The Hollywood Brown Derby is my #1 pick for Table-Service dining options at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The menu features a wide variety of American favorites with an upscale flair, and portion sizes have been generous in my recent experiences. I think the teens and adults in your group will really enjoy the ambiance and flavorful offerings. I highly recommend making a dining reservation if you plan to dine here, as it's a very popular location.
- 50's Prime Time Café will take your travel party back to the 1950s for an All-American dinner experience! Your group will get a kick out of the Cast Members' antics while enjoying a tasty meal in a unique setting. I encourage you to make a reservation if you intend to enjoy this experience.
- For a quicker bite (or if you have Star Wars fans in your group), check out Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. This is a Quick-Service location which means no reservations are required - and you can even place mobile food orders using the My Disney Experience mobile app!
I'm happy to share that, at the time of writing,
complimentary bus service should be available after 1:30 p.m. for transportation between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Buses generally run about every 20 minutes, so this will likely provide the quickest and easiest means of transportation between the theme parks. When you're ready to return to Magic Kingdom Park, just catch another bus back after dinner! You can always check out your best transportation options in real-time using the My Disney Experience mobile app, as well.
Jennifer, I hope you've found this information helpful as you gear up for an unforgettable Disney day with your favorite Mouseketeers! If you have any additional vacation planning questions, you're always welcome to return to
planDisney. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
