I was trying to make a reservation for Garden Grill for seven–five adults and two kids (4 & 7) but find that six is the max. Should I split the party up and make two reservations? Will we be able to sit next to each other?

Howdy, Stewart, and welcome to planDisney! I'm currently in an agricultural town in Kentucky, so dining with Farmer Mickey sounds like the perfect plan...maybe I'll join you! Your Walt Disney World Resort adventure will be here before Chip 'n' Dale can get into shenanigans, so let's talk about booking a meal at Garden Grill Restaurant.

It sounds like your 60-day booking window just opened, and you'd like to reserve seating for your party at this fabulous rotating restaurant at EPCOT's Land Pavilion. I chatted with an overall-wearing Cast Member who said that six is the maximum party you can book online for this location, so I suggest booking two separate reservations. Since the system typically only allows a guest to hold one reservation per meal period, you can recruit someone in your party to book another reservation for a time close to yours.

My tip is to check in at the welcome stand in person and ask you to be seated together or close to each other. There's no guarantee, but I've found that the staff is always as accommodating as possible.

They might give you the option to sit at one large table together on the upper tier of the restaurant. This area is a few steps higher than the main level and doesn't offer a clear view of the Living with the Land attraction below. The other option is to be seated at two crescent-shaped booths on the lower level. These booths offer a rotating view and can sometimes seat more than six guests, depending on size and age.

The best news is that Farmer Mickey and his pals will visit regardless of where you're seated. When my husband and I visited Garden Grill recently, I asked Mickey if he'd had dinner yet. When he sadly shook his head, I offered him a seat—and he plopped right down at our booth! That was a meal to remember! And I'll add that the Chip 'n' Dale Plant-based Harvest Feast was outstanding.

Stewart, I'm wishing on a tractor that you and your pals can experience Mickey's Garden Grill on your upcoming visit. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
