Hi Rebecca!
Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you've stopped by to see us again as you continue your countdown to your visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! As your trip draws closer and closer every day, you may want to check out a recent episode of the
planDisney Podcast where my fellow panelists,
Diane and
Lizzie, share some of their favorite ways to enjoy the excitement of a Disney vacation countdown!
Rebecca, it won't be long until your
advanced dining reservations window opens and I can feel the excitement and anticipation in your question! For me, dining reservation morning is one of my favorite days of vacation planning. As a person who loves to plan, I understand your concern about knowing theme park hours as you plan your dining reservations. Typically, you can find
theme park hours initially posted about 60 days out from the current date. That means that you'll probably be learning more about theme park hours as you're making those dining reservations.
One thing you may want to pay attention to (and could even check now) are any
dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during your trip. On party nights, Magic Kingdom Park will close early to day guests as happy haunts come out to socialize. If you don't have a ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you'll want to make sure that any dining reservation you have for Magic Kingdom Park is scheduled before the party begins.
Before I go, I wanted to share a few of my favorite tips when making dining reservations. Did you know you can now search for available dining times at a select restaurant over several days all at once? After entering your party size and initial desired date and time, you'll see an option to "Check Availability for Multiple Days." It's a great tool to find the reservation time that will work best for you at your must-do restaurants! Also, don't give up if you can't find availability for a restaurant on the day that your reservation window opens. Plans change all the time for Guests and many restaurants allow you to cancel a reservation up to two hours before dining without penalty. I've found some great last-minute reservations just days before a trip and many wonderful options checking
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability during my trip!
Rebecca, I hope this information is helpful and you get to enjoy all of the delicious dining you desire during your visit this fall. If you have any other questions, please remember that you're always welcome to be our guest again here at planDisney!
Bon Appétit!
