Hi Rachel, welcome to planDisney!
My family visited Walt Disney World Resort as a multigenerational party of 10 for years before my niece and nephew went off to college. The theme parks and resorts are great places to celebrate togetherness and make magical memories together.
Thank you for asking your question so clearly. It's important to connect with each member of your planning part as Family & Friends in My Disney Experience, which allows you to view and make plans together. To properly link to a child whose My Disney Experience account profile is managed by another adult, start by making sure the managing adult appears on your
Family & Friends list. If they do not, click "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your Family & Friends list, enter their email address, and you will be connected as soon as they accept the email invitation to connect.
Once the child's managing adult appears on your Family & Friends list, ask them to make sure "My list is shared" appears next to their name on
their Family & Friends list. If their list is not currently shared, they should click "Update" and "Share My List."
Still with me? Once you are connected with the child's managing adult as Family & Friends and their list is shared, the child should automagically appear when you click "Add a Guest" and "Find through my connected Guests" is selected. In my experience, a page refresh may be required if you and your family member are making simultaneous changes to your accounts.
Once the child appears on your Family & Friends list, Rachel, you can match them to your Disney Resort hotel reservation. If any of these steps results in a tech Stitch, a helpful Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ number is ready to assist.
As a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you can make advance reservations for dining for your entire length of stay (up to 10 nights) 60 days in advance. This is especially helpful when booking for large parties. A new day of reservations opens
online at 6:00 a.m. and the early bird finds the greatest availability. My most memorable meal with my party of 10 took place at
Hoop-Dee-Hoo Musical Revue. The food and entertainment are a delight.
Plan magic; planDisney.
