Hi Lisa, welcome to planDisney!
You're planning a visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth during
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year - what could be better?! No one decks the halls better than Disney, and there are festive photo ops at every turn. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for this year's
seasonal Disney PhotoPass offerings.
Memory Maker is my favorite souvenir because it includes unlimited downloads of all Disney PhotoPass media captured during your vacation. You can purchase Memory Maker anytime before your trip, just be sure to purchase
online at least three days in advance for a reduced rate. A Memory Maker entitlement sits in your My Disney Experience account until you activate it, and it remains active for 30 days.
You can activate your Memory Maker anytime after your first Disney PhotoPass image has been captured. Start by clicking on any watermarked image in your
My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the app's homepage > Photos). Click "Activate My Photos" followed by the green "Activate" button. Once your Memory Maker entitlement has been activated, you'll see the option to Edit, Save, Share, or Buy Photo Gifts for each image.
I typically download single images throughout my trip to share with friends and family on social media. After my trip, I download all of my Disney PhotoPass images at once onto my external hard drive for safekeeping. Keep in mind that each Disney PhotoPass image expires 45 days after it's taken. The expiration date also appears underneath each image.
My last reminder about Memory Maker is that it includes
Disney PhotoPass images of you and up to 25 members of your
Family & Friends list. Just know that you're the only one who can view unwatermarked images in your account if Memory Maker is
linked to you.
Enjoy experiencing and capturing your magical moments, Lisa! Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
