We will be visiting Disneyland for 3 days in January. Can we purchase a park hopper ticket for 1 day only and then a regular ticket for the other 2 days? Or do all 3 days need to be park hopper tickets.

Hi Michael! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

I think I have good news for you. Park Hopper is not priced per day. Whether you have it for one day or three, it's the same flat price. Buy it for your 3-day ticket and enjoy Park Hopper all 3 days at the same price as you'd pay to add Park Hopper to a 1-day ticket. There's no savings to selecting only certain days to feature this as an add-on to your tickets, so it's not an option to do so. Prices and terms are subject to change.

Park Hopper is an all-or-nothing option, but I think you'll be happy to have it. With Park Hopper, your theme park reservation is for your starting park. You can then hop to the next park without a reservation. Park Hopper allows my family to explore the parks with a lot of flexibility. We'll start the day in one park, hop after lunch, and hop back for the evening. Where we want to dine or what entertainment we want to enjoy shapes which park we start in and when we hop.

We also like the Lightning Lane Multi Pass option, which is also an additional cost. You can add that at the time of purchase or add it using the Disneyland mobile app when you arrive, subject to availability. The price on the app on your park day might be different from today's price. My little ones don't always do great waiting in lines, and this option limits the time you spend in queues. It's worth it for us!

    I hope this helps.
