We are visiting Dinseyworld in Oct this year, we want to book keys to the kingdom tour and the firework dessert party at magic kingdom but we have been told we can't book this until we arrive in the USA. Is this correct

Hi Maria, and welcome back to planDisney! The Keys to the Kingdom Tour and Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties are some of my favorite Enchanting Extras, and they definitely sprinkle a bit of extra pixie dust on your Disney day. So, let’s talk about how you can secure your spot from the comfort of home!

While you can’t make reservations for Enchanting Extras on the U.K. version of the Disney World website, U.K. guests are able to book these experiences through the My Disney Experience app’s chat feature. Just go to ≡ in the lower right corner and scroll down to Chat With Us (under Help & Feedback).

Enchanting Extras can be very popular, so I recommend reserving them as soon as your booking window opens. Disney Resort hotel guests can make these reservations up to 60 days before check-in for their entire length of stay (up to a 10-night stay). All other guests can book starting 60 days in advance of each day. The chat feature in the My Disney Experience app opens at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time (11:00 a.m. U.K. time), so don’t be late for this very important date!

I’m also going to be at the Most Magical Place on Earth this October and can’t wait for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom and the International Food & Wine Festival in EPCOT! The Halloween party is filled with frightfully fun entertainment, like my favorites, the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and the Hocus Pocus Villian Spelltacular. And I love to stroll around EPCOT this time of year and try all of the different small plates at the Global Marketplaces. Disney Parks Blog just released their foodie guide so you can start previewing the menus and planning your snacking strategy.

Safe travels, and I hope you have the most magical holiday ever this October! And if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
