Ahoy, Jamie, and welcome to planDisney! I'm sorry to hear you've run aground while trying to book a
Specialty Fireworks Cruise during your
Walt Disney World Resort visit. You're among planners here, so we feel your frustration!
Jamie, I've been trying to book a fireworks cruise for early November since my 60-day window opened. I even stopped by the marina at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa last week, but the Cast Members there couldn't shed any light on why dates in November hadn't opened for booking.
However, I called the
Tours and Recreation line today, and some dates are now open! The cruise my group was hoping for had already been booked, so my tip is to call as soon as possible to secure yours. Remember to ask about any available discounts because I got a special rate for being an Annual Passholder last year.
I've also experienced the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Seats & Sweets. If you're a fan of nighttime spectaculars, it's another fabulous way to enjoy the show. My friends and I sipped champagne and ate yummy desserts until
Happily Ever After started. That was a core memory!
Sometimes, planning a Disney vacation is a lot like pixie dust; you never know when the magic will shower down! But I'm wishing on a star that you can book a fireworks cruise for your fall visit.
Please
stop by planDisney anytime, Jamie. Fair winds and following seas!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
