Welcome back, Austin. I'm so glad you found your way back to us at planDisney. We love to help Guests with their Disney vacations, especially when they're celebrating something extra magical! And honestly, this sounds like the perfect opportunity for a full-on Bluey-style "yes day" at the Walt Disney World Resort!
If you'd like to have it noted on your reservation at your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel that it's your child's birthday, I'd recommend
speaking with a friendly Cast Member on the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line. Then, about 1-2 weeks before your trip, I'd recommend calling one more time to ensure that it's noted. Of course, you can also speak to someone at your hotel's
Front Desk when you arrive and ask for a Celebration Button your child can wear proudly on their big day! It already sounds like the start of a pretty unforgettable Bluey-style birthday adventure.
As Bluey would say, "This is trifficult!" because there are just so many fun ways to celebrate. But don't worry, I've got you covered. Let's do it:
- Check out all the newest attractions hitting the Disney World scene. You've got Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom Park, both of which have just received some wonderful new updates to help you discover the magic all over again. Of course, you need to visit Bluey and Bingo at Conservation Station in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. There are even some tasty treats and great merchandise inspired by these lovable pups, too! And I'm pretty sure Bingo would say “Hooray!” to the Muppets taking over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
- On the big day, book a Disney Minnie Van connected by Lyft so that you can arrive at your destination in style. They are driven by knowledgeable and helpful Cast Members. In true Bluey fashion, half the fun is the adventure getting there, and I've met some great people while riding in a Lyft, so I'm sure it'll be a treat!
- Book a specialty dining experience like Tusker House in Animal Kingdom or Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom, where you can enjoy some delicious food while meeting beloved Disney characters. After all, every great Bluey-style celebration deserves a meal that feels a little extra special.
- Have a yes day. Whatever the birthday child wants, the birthday child gets (within reason, of course). They want to ride the PeopleMover 4 times in a row? You've got it, kid. Dessert for breakfast? Why not? I mean, some of the waffles at Sleepy Hollow have fresh fruit, and some have chicken. Vitamins and minerals? Check. Protein? Check. As Bandit would say, "Gotta be done!"
- Bluey does such a beautiful job reminding us that the little family moments often become the biggest memories, so take a suggestion from her and book a Capture Your Moment session. During your session, a Disney PhotoPass Photographer spends 20 minutes with you and your group, capturing your special day in front of a picturesque location in one of the theme parks.
