I would like to visit your parks, however, I am not comfortable scanning my fingerprints. I see I can opt out showing ID. How about my young grandchildren. Will I need to provide an id for them as well?

Hi Friend! Thank you for visiting planDisney and your question!

I completely understand not feeling comfortable with the fingerprint scan that is taken. They are used to link theme park tickets to the guest and to ensure that tickets are not transferred to someone else. However, a physical I.D. will also work for adults. For children under 18 years of age, Cast Members usually take a photo of the child to link them to their theme park tickets. If you do not feel comfortable with this, you can also bring an I.D. for them too. My planDisney pal Jessica explains further how Walt Disney World Resort uses sensitive data for guests.
