Hiya, Michael, and thanks for stopping by planDisney! It sounds like you're in the middle of the
Walt Disney World Resort magic, so let's solve the mystery of why the virtual queue might not be showing up for you. We can play Great Mouse Detective!
TRON Lightcycle / Run currently offers a 7 a.m.
virtual queue for all eligible guests. If your ticket isn't date-based, you'll need a
theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park to join the queue. But if you chose a start date when you purchased your ticket, you should be able to join the 7 a.m. queue without a park reservation. Remember, you can't tap "Join Virtual Queue" until 7 a.m. on the dot. My husband watches the second hand, and I tap the button; it's a team effort!
The good news is that you may be able to join the 1 p.m. virtual queue for TRON as long as you're scanned inside
Magic Kingdom Park at that time. My tip is to stop by Guest Relations or the blue Guest Experiences umbrellas for in-person help before the afternoon queue. They can scan your MagicBand or ticket to see if your app has any glitches. My friend couldn't join a virtual queue because her app was outdated. Once she downloaded the latest version, she was good to go!
The 6 p.m. virtual queue is only for guests staying at deluxe Disney Resort Hotels on days when there are
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Since I don't see that benefit listed on today's calendar, I'm not sure why you saw that option today. There are Extended Evening Hours today for EPCOT, so maybe you were looking at the virtual queue for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
I hope I've given you some clues to solve the mystery of the virtual queue, Michael! Have a fabulous visit, and stop by
planDisney anytime. I'll have my magnifying glass waiting!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
