Hi Dennis, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! I know when I first joined the Disney Vacation Club, it took me some time to get used to managing my Vacation Points. It can certainly seem overwhelming at first, but with the point charts and the help of friendly Cast Members, I’ve become a pro at managing my DVC membership. Now let me share some of that insight with you!
In order to find out how many Vacation Points you have available, you have two options. First, you can
contact Member Services. After confirming your membership credentials, the DVC Cast Member can let you know how many Vacation Points you have. They can even help you book a DVC Resort stay using your Vacation Points!
The second way is to log in to the
DVC website and view your
available Vacation Points. In order to do so, you’ll need to have an account set up. If you don’t have one yet, you’ll need to contact Member Services to register. Once you’re logged in using your credentials, on the right-hand corner of your screen, you’ll see an option that reads “My DVC”. From there you can select “My Vacation Points”. The website will then display all of your available Vacation Points for your current
Use Year, along with the allotment of points available for your next three Use Years. The website will also display some important information, such as
your banking window and your full statement of point activity.
Dennis, I hope this info is helpful for you and if you have any further questions on making the most of your DVC membership, please feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
