Hi Joseph, welcome home and welcome back to planDisney! It looks like you have some leftover Vacation Points after your vacations this year, a problem I wish my family had since lately we’ve been borrowing points from next year’s allotment because we can’t get enough of our
Disney Vacation Club stays. Now we don’t want you to be like Elsa and just
let it go, so let’s talk about what we can do with your remaining Vacation Points!
If you haven’t passed your
banking deadline yet, you may want to consider
banking those Vacation Points for next year’s vacation. We sometimes do that with our allotment of Vacation Points when we’re planning a longer stay or a multigenerational trip! If these points can’t be banked, you may want to consider
borrowing from next year’s allotment for a short trip. And if a trip isn’t in the cards for the remainder of your Use Year, you can always gift a stay to a friend or close family member.
Based on your previous response, it looks like you also purchased
Membership Magic Beyond (smart decision, by the way). Did you know that one of the benefits of this optional program is discounted One-Time-Use Points? If you haven’t taken advantage of this benefit, you could purchase up to 24
One-Time-Use Points. Depending on the time of year, you can couple those with your two Vacation Points to book a quick weekend getaway!
Joseph, I hope these options are helpful for you. If you have any further questions about getting the most out of your DVC membership, please feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
