Hi Miranda, thanks for stopping by planDisney today with your question! Thank you for your family's service, we are so grateful!
I have a military family myself, and I am grateful for the many offers Walt Disney World has given to our community. As a family with a veteran who is 100% disabled, you can purchase
Disney Military Salute tickets! These tickets come as 4, 5, or 6-day passes, and you have the option to add Park Hopper, Park Hopper Plus, or the Water & Sports Options to your tickets. They can be purchased through
Shades of Green Resort or your nearest military installation. Make sure the service member brings their military I.D., (along with these tickets), they will need to "activate" these tickets at Guest Relations when you arrive at Walt Disney World. Guest Relations is located at the entrances to all of the theme parks, and there is also a location at Disney Springs. I usually visit the Disney Springs location the day before my first theme park visit to activate our Salute tickets, so we can bypass that line and go straight to the entrance. You can link the tickets ahead of time using the 16-digit numerical code on the back of the tickets to all guests traveling with you using your My Disney Experience app.
As a military family, don't forget to ask about the military rate for
Memory Maker. This is a Disney PhotoPass product, you will get all the photos you take, including ones from attractions, and character meets. Also, if you plan to stay as a guest at a
Disney Resort hotel, you can add a
military rate to your room, depending on the resort and availability. Call a Cast Member at the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations desk to add this offer.
Miranda, thanks for stopping by planDisney again! Send me questions at any time before your visit, I am always happy to help.
Happy Planning!
Frances
