We are coming to Disney World in July 2024. Do the military tickets that you buy at military base that do not require a military ID to activate at the park require park reservations? Basically, do we need to make reservations if using these tickets? Thanks

Greetings, Christopher! Welcome to planDisney, we're here to help you ignite the spark and begin planning what I am sure will be a magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

The Magic Your Way tickets sold at military installations nationwide at this time do require theme park pass reservations. What is great about these tickets is that, unlike the Disney Military Salute tickets, you do not have to stop by Guest Relations to "activate" the tickets, they are good to go, just make sure those theme park pass reservations are scheduled according to how you wish to visit!

Let's talk about the different add-ons you can include to your base Magic Your Way tickets. If visiting more than one park per day is something you are interested in, consider adding Park Hopper (subject to park capacity limitations). A July visit means pool time, and if you're interested in a water park day, consider adding the Water & Sports Option. The difference between this and the Park Hopper Plus option is that Water Park & Sports allows the guest to visit one theme park per day, plus a water park, miniature golf (at Disney's Fantasia Gardens and Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Courses), and Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course for golf, and FootGolf. Park Hopper Plus includes all of this, plus park hopping multiple parks in one day. Check out this list from the Shades of Green website featuring prices for all of these options.

Thank you for stopping by planDisney again, Christopher. Reach out at any time with other questions before your visit. Happy Planning!

    Magic Awaits,
