I just used my annual pass for the first time on 3/30/36. It still has an expiration date on May 9 2026. Why isn’t it updating to 3/29/27?

Howdy, James, and welcome to planDisney! We love helping guests find answers to their Walt Disney World Resort questions, so let's brainstorm to see what might be going on with your Annual Pass.

First of all, welcome to the Passholder family! My husband and I became Disney Pixie Dust Passholders a few years ago, and my only regret is not doing it sooner! You're going to love the benefits and discounts that come with your pass; I'll save my hottest tip for later, so stay tuned!

One way to double-check the expiration date of your pass is on your My Disney Experience mobile app. Tap the three lines at the bottom right to get to the Welcome screen, and then tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile. Swipe through any other admission until you see your annual pass, and look for the expiration date under the barcode.

It can sometimes take a day or two to update, so I'm sprinkling pixie dust and hoping you're all set now. If not, give the Annual Passholders line a call. Those Cast Members can access your account to ensure your pass is activated and linked correctly. They can typically straighten out problems in a flash!

Now, back to my tip! When I renewed our passes last year, I added the Water Park and Sports Option. While prices are always subject to change, it was around $100 when I purchased the add-on. For that, we can golf at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, play miniature golf, and enjoy the Disney water parks! All year long! It's a crazy good deal if you're going to visit a few times during the year.

James, I hope I've steered you in the right direction to get to the bottom of your expiration date mystery. Please stop by planDisney anytime, and enjoy that annual pass!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
