You actually won’t purchase your
Lightning Lane services until closer to your trip, so you still have some time! If you’re staying at a
Disney World resort, you’ll be able to book and purchase your Lightning Lane services beginning at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket if you have a date-based ticket.
Lightning Lane services are subject to availability, so I recommend booking them as soon as your booking window opens. You’ll do so by using your
My Disney Experience app. On the homepage, find the section titled Lightning Lane Premier Pass, then click Purchase. From there, you can follow the prompts to select your park day and which park you’d like to purchase the pass for.
You will not need to choose any Lightning Lane pre-selections with the Premier Pass. Instead, you’ll have access to enter each available Lightning Lane in the park once, whenever you’d like, on your park day. I was lucky enough to use this service at
Hollywood Studios in the past, and I loved every second of it! It made for such a laid-back day.
It’s good to note that you can only purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass for one park per day. And if you’d like to purchase the pass for more than one park day, each park day will be a separate transaction once your booking window opens.
Before your booking window opens, make sure your theme park tickets are linked to your account and your travel party is connected via the
Family & Friends List.
