Lightning Lane strategy is part of the fun! I'm happy to share some tips for making the most of this magical add-on to your Disney trip.
Lightning Lane passes are a great way for Guests to avoid long lines for popular attractions in the Walt Disney World theme parks. If you're staying at a Disney
Resort Hotel, you can purchase your Lightning Lanes seven days before your check-in date, while off-property Guests can snag theirs beginning three days before arrival.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass is an extra-special option that allows you to experience
every Lightning Lane attraction in a particular park once on the day that you purchase it for. At
EPCOT, this includes
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (my #1 attraction at Walt Disney World!), which is otherwise only available as a Lightning Lane Single Pass or standby. You'll also be able to visit
all of the attractions that are part of the Lightning Lane Multi Pass:
Frozen Ever After,
Test Track,
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure,
Soarin' Across America, and more (subject to change if attractions are closed for any reason)!
The Premier Pass is really nice if you don't like to rope drop the parks and start your day early. You're able to arrive on your own time and visit each attraction whenever you like, rather than being locked into a specific window of time as you are with the Single Pass or Multi Pass. I especially like Premier Pass at
Magic Kingdom Park - there are so many attractions there that it's tough to fit them into a single day, but we were able to do it easily with the pass!
