Hiya, Erin! It looks like it won't be long before you are walking down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. It's the heartbeat of my favorite holiday.
I have an upcoming trip and have been toying with the idea of getting a
Lightning Lane Premier Pass. This pass seems ideal, knowing we can ride all of our favorite attractions with the convenience of the Lightning Lanes. It's so tempting. So I certainly understand your hope to change your pass. Unfortunately, the
Lightning Lane products are non-refundable. I checked with a Cast Member who confirmed they cannot be refunded, even to purchase a different pass. She recommended buying the Premier Pass and then calling the Internet Help Desk at (407) 939-7765 to speak with someone about potentially refunding the Multi Pass. This is an exception to the rules, so it is not guaranteed. It never hurts to ask and hope. Personally, I would modify this approach a bit and consider two options:
- Call the number the Cast Member gave me to ask about purchasing a Lightning Lane Premier Pass and refunding the Multi Pass. Again, this is not guaranteed, so you may not want to buy the Premier Pass first. I would ask if they could assist you with this process.
- If your theme park ticket includes the Park Hopper option, you could use both passes. Enjoy all the attractions you want with the Premier Pass, and use the Multi Pass for your favorites at a different theme park (or parks).
I know this is not the simple answer you hoped to hear — or even a definitive one. On the hopeful side, if you stay with the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, it is an amazing option to enjoy shorter lines throughout the day. If you purchase a Premier Pass, you may be able to get the Multi Pass refunded. And if you buy both, you will have all the joy and wonder that makes
