What is the difference between a premier pass and a fast pass? Where is the pricing for both?

    Hi there, Jonelle!

First and foremost, I am so happy to meet a fellow Disney fan from the great Buckeye State! I'm thrilled you've stopped by planDisney to be part of our world and ask your question. With the cold weather we've been having, I love that you're planning your spring vacation in the Florida sun!

Okay, let's get your vacation plans in order. While Disney's FastPasses are no longer in service, Walt Disney World still has plenty of gadgets and gizmos aplenty to help you spend less time waiting and more time experiencing the magic, so let's dive into the details.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass is the new service that allows you to skip the standby lines at attractions. With the purchase of a Multi Pass, you can pre-select arrival windows for up to three attractions before you arrive. After using your first pass, you can select new passes based on availability. The Lightning Lane Single Pass is used for the most in-demand attractions, and you can purchase up to two of these passes per day.

Now the Lightning Lane Premier Pass is definitely a whosits and whatsits galore! This pass allows you to enter the Lightning Lane line at every eligible attraction one time in the theme park of your choice, at your leisure, with no reservation time needed! This is fins down, the premier time-saving option.

Prices are visible on the My Disney Experience app 21 days in advance. To check the pricing, open the My Disney Experience app. On the home page, you'll find the purchase options for "Lightning Lane Multi Pass/Single Pass" and "Lightning Lane Premier Pass." Click the purchase button and select your desired date. For the Multi Pass or Single Pass, choose the theme park you want to visit to view the pricing for that day. If you're interested in the Premier Pass, select your date to see the corresponding pricing.

Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or other select hotels can make their selections seven days before their check-in date. All other Guests can make their selections on a day-to-day basis, starting three days before their arrival.

Jonelle, whew, that was a big ocean of information. I hope this helps you plan your upcoming trip. Like Ariel, I hope you'll be flipin your fins in The Most Magical Place on Earth having a sea-riously wonderful time before you know it! Stop by planDisney anytime. We are always here to help you plan your perfect adventure!

    Wishing on a starfish,
