    Can I upgrade my day ticket for an annual pass?

    Hello there, Priscilla! Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for asking us about ticket upgrades.

    I'm so excited to hear that you are thinking about upgrading your 1-day ticket to a Magic Key pass. I have great news for you and the answer is yes, at this time you can upgrade tickets to a Magic Key pass as long as the Magic Key pass type is currently available. Your ticket also must be wholly unused to upgrade or the upgrade must be done before midnight on the last day of use of your ticket. I believe that currently ticket and Magic Key upgrades are being done in person at the Main Entrance Ticket booth in the Esplanade between the two parks. Please note that if you have a current reservation on your ticket that reservation will not carry over to your Magic Key and you will need to book a new theme park ticket reservation for your Magic Key.

    If you haven't already you can try to link your ticket to your Disney account through the Disneyland app in the "Tickets and Passes" section. Once your ticket is linked, sometimes there is an option to upgrade your ticket to a Magic Key underneath your ticket and barcode.
