Hey there Nicole,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question!
Most
theme park tickets are eligible to add the
Park Hopper option but it does depend on the specific ticket type that determines the eligibility. Therefore, I would recommend either reaching out to the military base ticket office where you purchased the tickets or
calling a Cast Member at the Tickets line who can help you determine if your tickets are eligible!
The Park Hopper option is one of my top recommendations when visiting the Disneyland Resort. Since the two parks' entrances face each other across a small esplanade, it is so easy to fit some park hopping back and forth throughout your day. You'll want to make sure to
set your theme park reservation for each day of your trip, which will indicate your starting park for the day. Then, starting at 11:00 AM, you can begin hopping between the parks!
I'll often start my day in one park, then hop to the other to get lunch and some attractions, then hop back to my starting park again around dinner time to finish out the day.
Also, May will be a really great time to visit the parks as they'll be in the midst of
Star Wars: Season of the Force and Pixar Fest. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the details of what you'll be able to find during these seasonal celebrations!
Thanks again for your question, Nicole. I hope you have a fantastic visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
