Hello Sandy,
Thanks for stopping by with a question for us. Isn't it wonderful to be able to visit Walt Disney World Resort so frequently? I've tried to visit every 1-2 months since becoming an
Annual Passholder last spring and that extra dose of magic has been such a joy!
My last visit was around the same time as yours and I also saw a guest using a stroller wagon during my
EPCOT day. I know these go against the standard
stroller policy, but I noticed that this guest's wagon appeared to have a medical exception tag on the handle. This is handled by
Guest Relations on a case-by-case basis and is always subject to Cast Member discretion.
Walt Disney World Resort property rules are designed to offer the safest experience for all guests, so I'm sure you can understand why such policies are in place. I don't believe nap preference would qualify the stroller as a medical device but you are welcome to speak with a Cast Member regarding your granddaughter's specific needs. I would be prepared with an alternate stroller in the event that your request is denied.
Stroller Rentals are available at the entrance of each theme park and would come in handy if you don't want to transport multiple options.
I'm hopeful that your family will enjoy a magical visit when you head back in a few short weeks. Be sure to sample the delicious food and beverage offerings available at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I'd also recommend trying Tiana's Famous Beignets from
Golden Oak Outpost in Magic Kingdom Park. Note that this location is typically only open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. so plan accordingly. I unfortunately missed them on my last visit but I've heard rave reviews!
Sandy, if we can answer any additional questions please come back and let us know. We're always happy to help.
Magic and memories,
Amy
